Design the visual identity for a small business and then build a website for this business using the Wix platform.

Strategies & Solutions

The small business is a florist, called Petal & Stem. The feel I wanted to create was rustic and playful. This is reflected in the logo of petals being blown off a flower and the choice of Amatic SC as the primary font. The colours chosen are varying shades of pink and purple to fit in with this theme. Through a process of creating and testing high fidelity wireframes in Adobe XD various detail, the website was refined to only include the most essential and beneficial features. All images were adjusted in Adobe Photoshop to have an orange filter put over them to give them a rustic feel. A coloured background with white petals over the top added to the overall theme of the business.
