Design an interactive publication using the Interactive features of Adobe InDesign, suitable for viewing on a computer or iPad.

Strategies & Solutions

I chose Frankie magazine to create as an interactive publication because it was a publication that lent itself well to the use of interactive features that would enhance the reader experience. Each article has a different coloured background so it is clear to the reader when they are on a different article. There is an interesting contrast between the serif font used for the article headings and the sans serif font used for the body text. There are also interactive elements throughout the magazine to encourage users to connect with the publication and with advertisers, including gifs, animations and buttons.
