Design, document and present a seating system for The Boulevard, a new precinct in Darling Harbour.

Strategies & Solutions

I evaluated different existing benches to work out the height and depth for ideal comfort and designed variations that could seat two, five and fifteen people. The project also considered locations and installation methods as well as production and transport costs. I also ran a sunlight animation in Rhino to see how long the sun would be directly hitting the benches.
